Robert Dankanin, STEST CZ, Czech Republic

Robert has worked in software development and testing for more than 14 years. For 5 years before founding STEST, he specialised in set-up and management of large test centers at Česká spořitelna and DHL IT Services. Prior to that, he worked at Schemantix, Sun Microsystems, Sysis and Vaisala. He is founder and president of the Czech and Slovak Testing Board. From March 2009 he worked for two years as one of four Executives of the ISTQB as its Secretary. Robert holds a B.Sc. in Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence.

Jana Zientková

Jana worked shortly in the field of software development and help authoring systems, and in 2003 she started to focus on testing. She worked at Unicorn on projects for such clients as Česká spořitelna and Škoda Mladá Boleslav. Then she moved to Česká spořitelna as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist in SQA team, where she has worked so far, except for the time spent on 3 maternity leaves. She is a Certification Committee manager in CaSTB (a regional ISTQB board), and she was a Programme Manager at Czech Test 2011-2014.

Antonín GabrielAntonín Gabriel, GE Capital, Czech Republic

Antonín works in testing area over 13 years. He started in telco area and today leads IT testing team in GE Money Czech Republic a. s. and is responsible for whole testing area like functional test, test management, methodology and testing strategy in company. He is primary focused to customer direct channels and approval systems. In present his center of involvement are automated tests and risk based testing methodology.




Martin ChalányMartin Chalány, ESET, Slovakia

Graduate of Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies in SUT Bratislava. From 2005 working in area of software testing. Participated on development and implementation of Slovak State Treasury project (IT analyst and IT tester). Since 2009 member of testing team on Slovak Electronic Tolling System. Currently working as QA Engineeer II for Eset. Experienced user of technologies and applications - database (Sybase, Oracle), bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla), automated testing (HP Quality Center, JMeter), analytical tools (Enterprise Architect MS Visio) as well as graphical tools (Adobe Photoshop). Holder of certificate The ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level and The ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level (Test Management module).



Petr Chytil, Avast, Czech Republic

Petr Chytil is the head of the Quality Assurance department at AVAST Software. Petr started as a tester in the NetBeans Core QA in Sun Microsystem during his studies at Czech Technical University. Later, he got his masters degree in Computer Science and moved to Sun Cloud Computing, where he was responsible for automated and performance testing of a datacenter virtualization software. After his seven year experience as a Quality Engineer, he moved to his current role of Quality Assurance Director. He is currently responsible for the quality of many Avast products.



Radoslav Mlynář, Česká spořitelna, Czech Republic

Radoslav devoted testing more than 10 years of his career. He has practical experience with test management process optimization from process, as well as technical (tools, environments) point of view. Recently he leads software quality management team at Česká spořitelna a.s., the ERSTE bank group subsidiary company, where he is setting up test standard, covering fast-tracking, iterative and non-iterative development approaches and internal as well as external deliveries in multiplatform, highly integrated bank environment.




Martin Rajčan, KBC ICT, Czech Republic

Martin has been involved in sw testing since 2005. He worked as test analyst and test manager at sIT Solutions (clients: Česká spořitelna as, Slovenská sporitelna as) – part of ERSTE bank group. In 2011 Martin moved to KBC ICT – part of KBC Group where he worked as senior test manager and program test manager (clients: ČSOB CZ, ČSOB SK). At present he works in KBC ICT as a head of IT Testing department, where he is leading the teams of test managers, test analysts, testers and is managing redesign of IT test and QA processes.




Pavel Verner, GMC Software Technology, Czech Republic

Pavel has 12+ years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance and overall 15+ years in SW development and testing. He is working for GMC Software Technology a French-Swiss company who is worldwide leader of Document Output For Customer Communications Management. He started at GMC R&D as a software test engineer later became team leader QA and currently takes the role Head of Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering. Responsible for set-up of organization-wide Test Policies, Processes, Strategies, Metrics. He is leading the CMMI® process improvement initiatives at GMC R&D. Holder of certificates The ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level and TMMi Professional.
